The registration package consists of several forms that make up the complete registration package. You may print these forms and fill them in manually or download them and fill in the details directly then print. EPUC Child Care Centre requires these forms be submitted together with payment and a copy of your child’s immunization record prior to registration.
Wait list Policy
Spots are filled on a first come, first serve basis. Priority is given to siblings of currently enrolled children and those enrolled in the 5 Day Program. When a program is fully enrolled, applicants will be held on a waiting list until an opening is available.
Children are not required to be potty trained to attend the program. The classrooms are equipped with a child friendly washroom so children who are potty trained are free to use this washroom as needed. The school is also able to facilitate ongoing potty training once the child has reached that stage of development.
We are a nut free facility and accommodate food allergies and/or food sensitivities. Our staff is fully trained in CPR and First Aid, including emergencies related to anaphylaxis.
Parents are encouraged to read our Parent Handbook prior to registration to ensure a thorough understanding of our policies and procedures. The handbook provides comprehensive information about parental responsibilities, guidelines for working with children, behaviour management, and procedural details as well as the administrative and governance components of the centre. Helmets During Physical Play
EPUC Child Care Centre participates in the Hamilton Helmet Initiative. During the Physical Play portion of the morning, children who are old enough to use the tricycles and scooters are required to wear a helmet. This may prevent skull fractures and major brain bleeds. Our centre encourages a culture of recreational safety by having children wear helmets from an early age. For more information, please visit HHI.
